We've launched a BrainPOP Jr. Movie of the Week app for K-3 learners too.

The app gives you mobile access to our free Featured Movie, rotating daily, plus our full collection of hundreds of movies and quizzes on a range of topics. Non-subscribers can choose from several subscription options to meet their needs. Remember, BrainPOP site subscribers can log in from the app at no additional cost.

IXL MATH use at school and at home

Every grade 2 to grade 6 student at Maple Road School is using IXL MATH at school and it can be used at home also.
IXL is a great site for math whether you are 7 or 13 years old . Start by logging in so you can practice your New Jersey State standards. Choose your grade level on the left side of page.  If you get stuck on a problem, the site also offers the solution and an explanation to help you out. Students win medals and awards as they use the program which is very motivating and they love it!!
If your chld doesn't know their log in send me an email and I can tell you what it is. mary.keyser@wmtps.org

From the wmtps home page we click on STUDENT and then choose IXL math. Have fun!

Welcome to the Maple Road School Media Center blog. Here we can share great web sites, books, and activites.

Let's start with our new favorite Pete the Cat where you can listen to all three Pete the Cat books by Eric Litwin. The books are all read by the author and are located in the center of the web page.

I love the one minute videos located on the right side of the page especially "Four Groovy Buttons" "Rocking in my School Shoes" and " I Love My White Shoes" videos.
